WHAT YOU CAN DO TO PRESERVE YOUR NATIONAL PARKS

Dear National Park Visitor:

Xanterra Parks & Resorts feels privileged to manage hospitality in some of the most beautiful places on earth, and this sentiment is exemplified by the organization’s strong commitment to environmental stewardship. The company’s mission requires that “business decisions balance economic viability with ecological responsibility” and affirms the belief that “increasing the sustainability of natural systems is not just good business. It’s the right thing to do.”

Protecting our parks is now more important than ever. Climate change and environmental degradation pose significant threats to our national parks and public lands. Current trends suggest that glaciers may disappear from Glacier National Park by 2030.

We hope you—as a park guest who cherishes as much as we do our national parks and public lands—will help us in our quest to keep Glacier National Park “green.” By drinking from a reusable water bottle, recycling your aluminum can, or turning off lights when not in use, you’re not only helping the environment, you’re also ensuring that Glacier National Park – and all its inhabitants – remains for future generations to enjoy.

Thank you for being green! We welcome your feedback and suggestions.
